A proposal template that works in the UK and the US, with the differences marked.
The same seven-section structure, annotated where the two markets diverge: the order of the argument, how the price is presented, what the terms need to say, and how the document gets accepted.

What is inside
- A one-page summary that survives being forwarded without you
- Scope, exclusions and a change rate written out in advance
- UK and US pricing blocks — VAT treatment and sales tax treatment
- Terms short enough to be read, including validity and termination
- An acceptance route for each market: email in the UK, signature in the US
- A conversion table for adapting a proposal from one market to the other
How to use it
- Fill in the summary page last, once the scope and price are settled.
- Keep one case study with one number in it; resist adding a second.
- Choose the UK or US block and delete the other.
- Save the terms as a separate one-page attachment so you stop rewriting them.
Who it is for
Freelancers and small agencies quoting project work across the UK and US, and anyone whose proposals go quiet after the price page.
