BrandPromotions is a content studio. This page explains what data this website collects, why, who processes it, and how you can control it. It covers the advertising cookies used to fund the site as well as the information you send us directly.
Who is responsible
BrandPromotions is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at yabt31554@gmail.com for any question about this policy or about data we hold.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us or send a project brief, we receive what you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company and project details.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting.
- Advertising and consent data. If you accept advertising cookies, Google and its partners may set cookies to measure and personalise ads. If you decline, ads are served without those cookies.
- Your consent choice. We store your accept or decline decision in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page.
Lawful basis
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we rely on: consent for advertising cookies and any optional analytics; legitimate interests for replying to enquiries and for keeping the site secure; and contract where we are delivering work you have commissioned.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads, and third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info and Your Online Choices.
- Declining advertising cookies does not remove ads; it makes them non-personalised. Ads may still be measured for aggregate reporting and fraud prevention.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party analytics beyond what advertising requires, and we do not build profiles of readers.
Your consent choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline advertising cookies. Advertising cookies are set to "denied" by default until you make a choice, using Google Consent Mode. You can change your decision at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Who processes data for us
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — advertising (AdSense) and ad measurement.
- Our hosting provider — server logs and site delivery, on a virtual private server in the EU.
- Our email provider — correspondence you send us.
Where a processor is outside the UK, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy regulation. We keep the current processor terms on file.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept while the project is active and for up to two years afterwards, so we can answer follow-up questions. Server logs are rotated by the host, typically within 30 days. Advertising cookie lifetimes are set by Google, not by us.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first.
Children
This site is written for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting consent will be shown in the consent banner again.
