Process

How a project runs.

The outline stage is where most projects are saved. Approving structure before prose prevents the rewrite that comes from a misunderstood brief.

01

Brief

You describe the reader, the offer and the outcome. We ask the questions that make the brief usable and confirm scope in writing.

02

Outline

You approve the structure and the argument before drafting. This is the cheapest point to change direction.

03

Draft

A complete draft with sources, meta copy and internal link suggestions arrives on the agreed date.

04

Edit

Two revision rounds, then clean HTML or a CMS-ready draft, and a short note on what we would improve next.

Engagement

Quotes, deposits and scope.

Pricing depends on research depth, word count and turnaround — not on how long we can stretch the work. We quote a fixed fee after reading your brief.

  • Fixed quote before work begins, valid for 30 days
  • 50% deposit on projects longer than two weeks
  • Two revision rounds included on every deliverable
  • Full ownership of final copy on payment
  • No ranking, traffic or sales guarantees — ever
Questions

Before you brief us.

Do you use AI to write?

Drafts are written by a person. We may use tools for research, checking and variant generation, but every article is structured, written and edited by hand. We do not publish unreviewed machine output.

How do revisions work?

Two rounds are included on every deliverable. Send one consolidated set of notes per round. Revisions must stay within the approved brief and outline; a change of direction is quoted as new work.

Do you need access to my website?

No. We deliver HTML or a CMS-ready draft. If you want us to publish, we can do that with written approval, but it is optional and never assumed.

What do you need from me to start?

A short brief: the reader, the offer, the outcome, and any proof you already have. If you have existing pages or sales notes, send those too. We will ask follow-up questions before quoting.

Can you match our existing tone of voice?

Yes. Send two examples you like and one you do not, with a sentence on why. If you have a style guide, we will follow it and flag anything it does not cover.

How does pricing work?

A fixed fee per project, quoted after we read the brief. Retainers are available for teams publishing four or more articles a month. Deposit terms are set out in the quote.

Send a brief.

Two paragraphs is enough. You will get scope, a timeline and a fixed quote, usually within one working day.
